Hazardous travel expected in Mountain View County Friday, warns fog advisory

MOUNTAIN VIEW COUNTY - Mountain View County and the urban centres near it are under a fog advisory Friday morning.

Environment and Climate Change Canada (Environment Canada) updated its Nov. 1 alerts at 7:42 a.m.

A special weather advisory is in place for Mountain View County, Carstairs, Cremona, Water Valley, Didsbury and Sundre.

"Areas of dense fog with near zero visibility continue this morning. Conditions will improve near noon. Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations," the 7:42 a.m. advisory warned.
