STARS transports man after fall from ladder north of Didsbury

MOUNTAIN VIEW COUNTY - A man was flown to Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary with undetermined injuries after a fall north of Didsbury Friday morning, say officials.

The man fell from a ladder on a rural property, Blake Robert, media spokesperson with STARS, told the Albertan.

The patient, who was not named, is in his 50s, he said, noting the man's condition was not immediately known.

Robert could not say whether the location was a residential or industrial property.

Didsbury Fire Department Chief Curtis Mousseau confirmed that Didsbury emergency responders were called to the rural property just off Range Road 20 north of Didsbury.

“The call came is as a medical response,” he said.

STARS said it was dispatched to the scene shortly after 10 a.m.
