1957 - 2021
The family of Trevor Bradshaw sadly announce his passing on Monday, November 15, 2021 at the age of 64 years.
Trevor was diagnosed with ALS in 2019, a journey he met with courage, dignity and humor. He said he lived a great life with no regrets.
Trevor was born to Bert and Marg Bradshaw in Innisfail, Alberta, and grew up on the family farm. Trevor also developed a lifelong friend named Madeline. While completing his Apprenticeship as a Heavy Duty Mechanic in 1978, he was awarded the highest marks in Alberta for his Third Year. Trevor met and married the love of his life, Yvonne Flessatti in 1980. After working many years with R. Angus, Finning and Saunders Contracting, Trevor and Yvonne started their own company in 1988, ‘TYE Enterprises’. Trevor loved his work and his customers; many have become lifelong friends. Trevor and Yvonne spent many years travelling and sailing on the west coast.
Then in 1995, they were overjoyed to welcome the arrival of their daughter, Janna and again in 1997, with their son, Tyler. Together, as a family, they spent summers on “Strait Escape” exploring the British Columbia coastline. They enjoyed numerous trips to beaches, ski hills, the mountains, Disneyland, trips on cruise ships and to Iceland. The family also enjoyed Trevor’s passion for motorbikes and the open road.
To carry on his memory, he leaves his wife, Yvonne, his daughter, Janna, and his son, Tyler. He will also be deeply missed by his sister, Beth and his brothers, Dale and Lorne as well numerous extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Trevor's Life will be held at the Paterson Community Centre, 27 Avenue Bowden, Alberta on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow. For those attending the Service, proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test is required. The Service will also be Live Streamed for those unable to attend.
