1951-2021
It is with great sadness that the family and friends of Jacqueline Folland (Copeland) announce her passing on December 31, 2021 at the age of 70 years.
Jacquie was born February 12, 1951 in Turner Valley, Alberta, she spent her early years in Longview before moving with her family to Red Deer and then Calgary. She and her husband Ed, moved from Calgary to Hinton before returning to Ed's hometown of Sundre where she resided for the rest of her life on the ranch north of town.
Jacquie loved sewing and enjoyed many sports including baseball and bowling in her younger years, and later spent many hours at the local ice rinks supporting Tim in hockey and Brenda in figure skating. She enjoyed being involved with the Sundre figure skating club, arena board and 4H club. She loved her animals, especially her many dogs and cats she had over the years, her horses and the new calves in the spring each year, she loved birds and always had her hummingbird feeders out first thing in the spring.
She will be greatly missed by her husband Edward; children Tim (Karina) and Brenda (Cody); stepson Darrel; grandchildren Sheldon, Cheyenne (Jake), Alana, Sierra and Stetson and one great grandson Xavier as well as her brothers; Rick (Judy), Roy (Gail), and sisters; TJ, Cherie (Paul), Debbie, and Stacey (Scott) and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her father George Copeland; her mother Muriel Schmelzer, stepdad Martin Schmelzer, sisters, Darlene Keuben and Bonnie Whitlock; her brother in laws Ben Keuben, Don Whitlock and Jack Folland (Trudy) and one infant son, Marvin.
In keeping with Jacquie's wishes, no service will be held.
