Ione Gusella, beloved wife of late Ronald Gusella, of Carstairs passed away peacefully in the Innisfail Rosefield Care Centre on February 16, 2023, at the age of 89 years.
Ione is survived by her family: Grant Gusella (Carla Oxtoby); twin daughters: Gwen Grant (Harlan Reiter) & Glynis Boardman ( Patrick Boardman); grandchildren: Austin Ancion ( Brigit); Logan Ancion (Lindsay); Jessica Gusella ; Melissa Grant, Courtney Grant, & Toni Grant. Ryan Boardman (Kim); Victoria Pritchard (Jordan); great grandchildren Grayson Ancion, Blair Pritchard, Boston Pritchard.
She also leaves to morn a special companion that took her out on day outings and special visits – Lavinia West.
Funeral services will be held at the Carstairs Community Hall on Thursday March 9, 2023, at 11 am with Lavinia West officiating. Interment to follow in the Crossfield Cemetery.
