Kasandra Lyn Miller-Snyder was born May 23, 2000, in Red Deer, Alberta. She was taken from us in a tragic vehicle accident on March 8th, 2022, at the age of 21.
Kasandra was known by family, friends and the community for her caring heart and love for animals.
She was involved in many groups 4-H Horse & Canine, Didsbury Minor Hockey, Field Hockey, Soccer. Through school she was involved in volleyball, basketball, track & field also band where she played clarinet & saxophone. She was involved with Didsbury Ag Society (enjoyed opening the Didsbury Rodeo with her quarter horse Tye carrying the Canadian flag).
Her true passion has always been raising and showing her Welsh ponies, and horses. She had the opportunity to show one of her stallions Sunburst Heart of Jubilee at the Toronto Royal Fair where they both brought home a champion ribbon.
She will be forever loved and remembered by her Mother, Shelley; Brother, Braydon (Tonya); Niece and Nephew, Harlow & Brooks and extended family and many friends. Her career was spent caring for others at Snowy Owl Medical Clinic and living the western lifestyle at Irvine’s Tack and Western Wear.
Her future endeavors included attending college in the fall for Agriculture Management in Olds, and travel adventures with mom and friends. Kasandra has been called home and reunited with grandpa and grandma Charlie & Gloria Snyder.
