July 17, 1931 – May 12, 2021
Bill Parker, beloved husband, father, grandpa and great grandpa passed away peacefully on May 12, 2021.
Bill loved and cared for his family with tireless hard work and a good-natured attitude. He will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his wife, Solveig Parker; children, Gayle (Bill) Bates, Cathy (Jack) McLeod, Raye (Rob) Burke and Lenard (Linda) Parker, stepdaughters; Sharyl Lyle, Jackie (Al) Forbes; sister, Shirley Cottrell; brother, Gene (Lynn) Parker; sister-in-law, Peggy Johnson; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Bill was known for his outgoing personality, friendly banter and his willingness to lend a helping hand. He was very proud of his family and spent a great deal of his time helping them with things around the farm and mechanical work. No task was ever too big or small, he enjoyed the challenge. If there was something he couldn’t fix, you probably didn’t need it anyway.
Bill always provided a welcoming home with good coffee and a heartfelt laugh. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.
