Linda Bernice Rabchak of Carstairs Alberta passed away June 22,2022 at the age of 72 .
Linda is survived by her loving husband Lloyd of 57 years, daughter Lisa (Drew) Graham, son Devon (Jennifer) Rabchak and Grandsons Adam, Aaron (Kat),Reese,Russel and Great Grandson Benson, brothers Gordon, Melvin, Alvin, Roy, and sister Beverley.
Linda was predeceased by her parents Howard and Muriel Gale. Linda grew up in the Peace country and at the age of 15 she met the love of her life Lloyd. They began their married life together in Grimshaw later moving to Red Deer where they raised their family. Together they travelled in their motor-home across North America. They have especially fond memories of their winters spent in Arizona. They settled into “small town” living in Carstairs where Linda will be remembered by many for her infectious smile and laughter, handcrafted cards and her love and devotion to her dogs. Linda will be especially missed by her swimming group “the Wet Ones” and her many friends in the community.
A celebration of life will be held at the 5-0 club in Carstairs from 2:00- 4:00pm on August 20,2022. The family is encouraging those attending to wear colorful clothing in celebration of such a vibrant lady. There will be an opportunity for sharing stories and memories of Linda. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to S.T.A.R.S
