On Saturday the 21st of January Aaron Christian Thompson passed away peacefully at the age of 52. He was surrounded by family and friends during the last moments of his life.
He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his life partner Jenny Gnam, and his children Azaria and Phoenix, his parents Rita and Brian Thompson, his sister Amber (Gordon) Anderson, brother Chad, Sister in law Bryana Huebner his in laws, Shelly and Dan Holdsworth, Drew and Susan Gnam as well as many nephews’, nieces and friends.
He was predeceased by his brothers Sean and Greg Thompson
A celebration of his life was held on January 29th at the Cloverdale Legion Hall, Surrey. British Columbia.
The Legacy
When I die, give what is left of me to my children.
If you need to cry, cry for your brothers walking beside you.
Put your arms around anyone and give them what you need to give to me.
I want to leave you with something, something better than words or sounds.
Look for me in the people I have known and loved.
And if you cannot live without me, then let me live on in your eyes your mind and your acts of kindness.
You can love me most by letting hands touch hands and letting go of children that need to be free.
Love does not die, people do.
So, when all that is left of me is love…
