Tom Asselstine of Didsbury, Alberta passed away at the Olds Hospice on February 2, 2020 at the age of 79 years.
He is survived by his wife Jean of 53 years; two children son John (Lisa McKague) their children Jayden and Kalleigh Asselstine of Crossfield,AB; his daughter Victoria (Ron Sorensen) their children Paige and Kohl Sorensen of Didsbury, AB; brother Don (Evelyn) of Napanee, ON; two sisters Beulah Beatie of Tweed, ON and Anna Baxter of Tamworth, ON.
He was predeceased by his mother Jean, father Frank and his younger sister June. Funeral Services were held on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Heartland Funeral Services Chapel, Didsbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
