A 25-year-old Edmonton man accused of having between $300,000 and $500,000 in his possession when he was pulled over by police on Highway 2 on April 8, made a brief court appearance on Sept. 9.

Thinh Binh Dinh, who is charged with possession of proceeds of crime had his plea hearing held over until Sept. 23.
Police seized the cash during a traffic stop with the aid of a police dog and allege that, due to the way the cash was packaged, that it was part of a drug trafficking ring.
