OLDS - The seventh annual Olds Gun & Antique Show held Aug. 14-15 at the Cow Palace in Olds, attracted about 1,700 people, up from about 900 last year.
Manager Linda Toews says this year’s edition attracted about 250 tables, up from 200 in 2020.
For the second year in a row, COVID was a factor.
Last year, people were asked to wear masks, socially distance and use hand sanitizer that was provided. Toews said this year, those precautions were optional.
“We rely on people to use their common sense,” she said.
As in previous years, a portion of the profits will be shared with Olds & District Special Olympics, Wild Rose Go Getters Women’s Institute and Keystone Youth Theatre.
