No firm timeline has yet been established for the Olds public health unit moving to the Ralph Klein Centre.

Heather Kipling, a spokesperson with Alberta Health Services, confirmed that plans are underway to move 20 staff from its current location at the provincial building in downtown Olds north of 50 Street.

Kipling said AHS has wanted to move the operation to a new location due to a need for more space for staff.

Oral health, chronic disease management and health promotion are some of the services offered through the public health unit.
