OLDS - Phase 2 of replacing 52nd Street infrastructure in Olds is well underway.
The project began in July and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, weather permitting.
The project, from from 51st Avenue to 53rd Avenue, involves replacing underground sewer and water lines, installation of new sidewalks, curb and gutter, and then repaving the street.
Town officials say the project is necessary because utilities laid down there previously had exceeded their lifespan. Ruby Rock Asphalt Works Ltd. is doing the work.
