All the lights in Uptowne Olds should be fully assembled and ready to face the winter by tomorrow, according to Old Chief Operating Officer Scott Chant.

Chant says now that all the light poles have been put in place, workers are attaching appendages so that flags or baskets can be hung from them.

The process also includes attaching lights to them, of course.

“By Wednesday, all the light standards should be complete and the lights activated,” Chant said during an interview with The Albertan.

Fortis workers installed the light standards last week.

“The biggest thing was it took quite a bit of time to stand them up and make sure they were level,” Chant says.

“Putting on the hardware should go fairly quickly because all they have to do now is install it to the posts.”
