This past Saturday, May 7, Ford dealerships across Canada, including Olds' own Cam Clark Ford, hosted the Drive 4UR School program.

The local one took place at École Deer Meadow School.

The goal was to help the school raise money for Mountain View Habitat for Humanity.

For every eligible person who test drove a Ford vehicle at École Deer Meadow School between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Ford of Canada donated $20 each to help Fort McMurray fire victims and to Mountain View Habitat for Humanity's project to build a duplex in Olds to house two local families.

A barbecue sponsored by Westview Co-op was also held during the test drive event.

Ford of Canada and its dealerships have been supporting local communities with the Drive 4UR program since 2010, generating more than $6 million in donations for schools and charities across the country.
