Two Olds residents have been awarded scholarships/awards at the University of Alberta Augustana campus.
Carson Jorgensen, a third-year bachelor of science student, was awarded a total of $750 for leadership, funded by the Glynne Jones Memorial Award.
Steven Prysunka, a first-year bachelor of management student, was awarded $1,000 for honours, funded by the Kroeger Joyce Chartered Accountants Scholarship.
They were among 320 UAlberta Augustana Campus students awarded scholarships and awards for the 2015-16 academic year.
More than $528,000 was provided by the University of Alberta and Augustana Campus in recognition of excellence in academics, fine arts, athletics and leadership.
