The Town of Olds plans to begin water main replacement work on 50 Street between 51 and 50 avenues before the end of the summer.
The work, which includes replacing water service to businesses along the roadway and repairing sidewalks, will affect the westbound lane and is expected to last roughly four weeks.
The street will remain open to traffic and pedestrians and the town will provide temporary water service to affected businesses.
This project is being carried out in preparation for major infrastructure repair work on 50 Avenue in the downtown core next year.
