OLDS — A collision in the No Frills parking lot in Olds is now described as fatal.
A 68-year-old woman walking in the area was hit at about 5:30 p.m. Sept. 30.
In an Oct. 3 news release, police say she died at the scene.
“Condolences to her family and friends,” the release said.
After the collision occurred, four bystanders tried to help the injured lady, but left before police arrived.
On the night of the collision, a RAVE Alert community watch advisory said Olds RCMP were looking for witnesses to the collision.
The Oct. 3 update reiterated that appeal.
“Olds RCMP are seeking the identity of these witnesses, or anyone else who may have seen the collision,’” the news release said.
“Please contact Olds RCMP at 403-556-3324 or your local police.”
