About 30 people attended a reunion and celebration of the 100th anniversary of the arrival of a group of orphans and disadvantaged children in Olds. The event was held July 8, at the Cadet Hall.

The Olds High School Class of 1957 celebrated its 60th anniversary with a reunion at the Pomeroy Inn & Suites in Olds June 24 and 25. Some students from the classes of '55, '56, '58 and '59 also attended.

BOWDEN ñ This year is the 25th anniversary of the Bowden Bonanza Daze rodeo, and to celebrate that milestone, it will feature several new attractions. The event runs from July 28-30 at the rodeo grounds just south of town.

BOWDEN - A date has been set for ground to officially be broken on the new community hall. It will take place July 29 between 12 noon and 12:30 p.m. in the northwest corner of the construction site, just after the Bowden Bonanza Daze parade.
