The federal election campaign is over and the sky has not fallen. I’m not writing about who won, or who lost, or why.

The federal election outcome, Oct. 21, is more important to Alberta’s future than the provincial budget to be tabled in the legislature three days later.

Canadians will elect a new House of Commons on Oct. 21. We’ve already seen the political parties and their leaders staking out positions on an array of fundamental issues.
