Ball raises roughly $12,000

Doghouse performs at the Sundre Community Centre on Saturday, May 5 during the inaugural Tri-Services Regimental Ball.

The semi-formal soiree served as a celebration of emergency responders as well as a fundraiser for the Sundre Citizens on Patrol Association, Chinook Arch Victim's Services and the Sundre Volunteer Search and Rescue Society.

An organizer said on Friday afternoon that more than 150 people attended, and approximately $12,000 was raised with the bulk of the bills accounted for.
