The female driver of this 2014 Mazda was charged with failure to obey a traffic control device following a collision with a 1995 Dodge Ram pickup truck on Friday, Dec. 22 at the intersection of Main Avenue and Centre Street. The male driver of the truck was headed north on Centre Street, crossing the intersection on a green light when the eastbound SUV collided, said police, citing a witness report. The crash was called in around 3:30 p.m., and a tow truck cleared the Mazda from the intersection by about 4:30 p.m. The male driver was not harmed, while the female driver was taken by ground ambulance to the Sundre hospital with undetermined injuries.
