Roughly two dozen people recently attended the Sundre Hospital and Care Centre’s palliative care room dedication ceremony honouring the late Dr. Hal Irvine, pictured in the framed photograph, who left behind a legacy of commitment to high-calibre rural health care throughout his many years of service to the community. “He was an exemplary rural physician,” said Diana Kleinloog, president of the Sundre Palliative Care Association.
