Snake Hill sledding

Sundre resident Thiess Larose, 12, grips tightly onto his sled as he launches off of a small jump on Snake Hill last Tuesday, Jan. 2, when the weather finally warmed up following a bout of extremely cold temperatures that saw the mercury dropping down to the -30 C range, and lower with windchill factor. He came out with his dad Brett and his sister Marin, 10, who all enjoyed the chance to play in the snow without running the risk of frostbite.
