Snow delays project

Efforts to lay asphalt along Centre Street North were well underway earlier this week, but snowfall later in the week prevented work on the $2.2-million project's first phase from being completed. The municipality said on social media a short section of the road near 12th Avenue NE remains to be completed. "When the weather allows it, crews will return to complete the project. Signage will be posted but please watch for transition in pavement height," reads the Nov. 2 post.
