The Town of Sundre has extended the deadline for proposals for a large-scale renovation and upgrade project at the Sundre arena until Dec. 13. The request for proposals was issued in October and was scheduled to close on Nov. 30.

The final Transportation Safety Board report into a plane crash outside Sundre that killed three men in September 2010 is expected to be released early in the new year.

The Town of Sundre Economic Development Committee has put forward a proposal that would see the committee pay organizers grants of up to $1,000 to bring events to town.
