Local throwing athlete Haylin Eling is pretty happy with her performance during the Tri Province Championships. Eling won a gold medal in the hammer throw after tossing a personal best (PB) of 45.

The Olds Bantam Stingers lost all four games they played during Provincials in Calgary July 10-14.

INNISFAIL – The Innisfail Hawks have wrapped up regular season play. The 18U AA midget team finished the season at home on Sunday, July 21 against the Leduc Giants. The team came out on the losing end of a 10-7 decision in extra innings.
