A split of four games last week has the Olds Grizzlys in the position of having to garner a few points out of their final three games this week.

This Saturday, the Innisfail Bantam AA team will play off against the Arapahoe Ice Warriors from Denver, Colo., during an exhibition game at the Enmax Centrium.

The Olds Midget Mustangs had a perfect weekend as they look to finish the season on a strong note. By virtue of a 6-4 win over the Lacombe Rockets and a 6-3 win over the Rocky Royals on the weekend, the Mustangs moved to within one game of .

At this point of the season the Olds Grizzlys are masters of their own destiny.

Junior girls continue winning ways The Sundre Junior Girls basketball team takes on Didsbury at the Sundre High School on Tuesday. The local team, which has a 9 - 2 record so far this season, won the game 42 - 28.

A strong weekend by Olds figure skaters netted a haul of medals and personal bests at the recent Edge of Excellence skating competition hosted by the Olds Figure Skating Club.

When the Olds College Broncos take to the CLC main court for a men's and women's basketball doubleheader on Thursday against Ambrose University College, there will be more at stake than the points in the standings.

After holding the 2011 organizational meeting on February 3, the Innisfail Minor Soccer Association is not any closer to meeting its need for volunteers. The association is still looking for a president, age group coordinators, and coaches.
