Numerous people facing chargesNumerous people are facing charges following the theft of a licence plate stolen from a vehicle parked at the Ramada Inn overnight between Nov. 24 and Nov. 25. The plate was stolen from a white 2009 Chev Silverado.On Nov. 26, the Olds RCMP received a call about a stolen vehicle parked at the Dairy Queen. Upon attending the scene, four suspects fled the vehicle on foot and were later apprehended. Upon further investigation, RCMP discovered the stolen plate from the Ramada Inn vehicle was found on the white 2013 Chev Silverado, which was stolen from Lakewood Chev Olds in Edmonton.Skeyelar Rudbal, 22, from Olds, has been charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000, being in possession of a controlled substance and operating a motor vehicle without a valid licence. She has been released on her own recognizance to appear in Didsbury court on Wednesday.A 16-year-old male, a 20-year-old male, and a 16-year-old female all from Penhold are each facing charges of possession of stolen property over $5,000 in relation to the incident. All three will be appearing in court Jan. 7, 2013.Truck recovered after being stolenRCMP recovered a white 2007 Ford F-350 west of Rge. Rd. 25 on Twp. Rd. 32.4 in the early evening of Nov. 26 after it was reported stolen from Double 2 Body Shop sometime between 6 p.m. Nov. 25 and 7 a.m. the following day. The matter is still under investigation.
