The Battle of Olds is being recreated again. The event, a dispute between Olds citizens and Canadian Pacific Railway officials and involving local police, occurred in 1907.

Two dogs were killed, several were injured and six were missing after a vehicle rollover near Olds on Saturday. Two women transporting the dogs were sent hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

An Olds High School student charged with sexual assault, forcible confinement, uttering threats and two counts of assault was acquitted in Didsbury court on Wednesday, Sept. 10.
