River Valley School Grade 3 student Olivia Thorogood without hesitating patiently and courteously held open one of the main doors on Tuesday, Sept. 2 after the bell rang dismissing classes following the first day of school.

The Sundre area’s camping season seems to have ended safely and quietly, with no major emergencies reported throughout the duration of the Labour Day long weekend. “We were pretty quiet,” said Sundre Fire Department Chief Marty Butts.
