A scholarship has been created in memory of Stephen Carrier, a local teen who passed away suddenly in January. His family thought of the idea as a way for Carrier to always be remembered in the community.

Students from River Valley School (RVS) are collecting pennies for less fortunate people in developing countries. The fundraiser began last month and is running until April when the pennies will be donated to Free the Children.
