INNISFAIL – Town council has approved more than $100,000 of provincial grant money for youth programming. At council’s regular meeting on Jan.

INNISFAIL – The town’s millennium baby has come of age. Ryan Groves was the first baby born in the year 2000 at Innisfail Health Centre. He came into the world a little bit earlier than expected, said father Bill Groves, arriving Jan. 7.

BOWDEN – Town council has taken the first step toward a project that could result in redevelopment of the former Bowden Nurseries property and its annexation into the town.

PENHOLD – The Town of Penhold issued $15.2 million in building permits in 2017. It appears to be a bumper year when compared to the 2016 dollar figure, which saw a total of $5.1 million in building permits issued.

INNISFAIL – While just released building permit values for 2017 show Penhold making a strong economic recovery from the recent recession, Innisfail figures have drastically slumped. The town recorded a value of just under $4.
