A 38-year-old Innisfail woman has been charged with several counts of fraud and theft following an investigation by the Red Deer RCMP. Police allege that the suspect stole more than $54,000 from her employer between September 2015 and 2017.

Innisfail RCMP responded to a distraught female following an assault on July 12. The woman was camping at the junction of the Red Deer and Medicine rivers on July 12 and told Innisfail RCMP she had been assaulted by her male companion.
