INNISFAIL - With the recent snowfall over the holidays, Innisfail has put its hard-working snow angels to good use.

INNISFAIL – After more than a year of being first introduced as a strategic priority for the town, Innisfail’s new council has adopted a policy for public engagement.

INNISFAIL – Finding a locally brewed pint of beer in Innisfail will soon get easier with the introduction of new microbreweries.

INNISFAIL - Happy New Year everybody! Philip Massier, the Division 1 councillor for Red Deer County recently talked and helped us with some stuff about public speaking. Our club’s public speaking event is on Jan. 28 at the Knee Hill Valley Hall.

INNISFAIL – The town’s community services director has resigned. The town recently accepted the resignation of Henry Wong, who served the Town of Innisfail in the position for the past three years, said a news release issued by the town on Jan. 15.

INNISFAIL – The recent drive by town leaders to improve community aesthetics continued last week with a proposal to create a bylaw specifically targeting tree maintenance.

BOWDEN – Council has postponed approval of a drinking water distribution and safety plan policy, pending some more tweaking by town staff. The plan/policy, which outlines a standard operating procedure (SOP) came up for approval during council’s Jan.
