INNISFAIL – Kids now have an opportunity to learn about nature and outdoor skills thanks to the Junior Forest Wardens program (JFW) in Innisfail. The program began in September 2016 and is open to youth ages six to 18.

INNISFAIL – The town has extended an olive branch to frustrated business owners in West Gate Industrial Park who are battling a crime wave and facing a newly amended Landscape Bylaw they feel doesn’t make sense.

INNISFAIL – Local Mounties have laid burglary charges against three Olds residents following a break-in at a rural lease site. On Dec. 27, Innisfail RCMP responded to a complaint of the lease site burglary north of the Innisfail Airport.

INNISFAIL – Council is moving to create better first impressions for the town. And that means cleaning up the unsightliness at both the main east- and west-side entrances to the community.

BOWDEN – Mayor Robb Stuart says cutting the crime rate in Bowden will be a big priority this year.

PENHOLD – This winter the town is offering families a way to connect, stay out of the cold and enjoy some indoor family fun. Penhold will be hosting its first-ever Winter Carnival on Jan. 14 from 1 to 3 p.m.
