DIDSBURY - For its first-ever community charity run, Essentials for our Community Didsbury did very well, said president Sheree Andrews.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Carstairs massage therapist facing two charges of voyeurism. Mark Henning Oliver Blessmann was scheduled to go to trial in Didsbury provincial court on Oct. 4 but did not appear.

CARSTAIRS - The 66th annual Carstairs Community Chest charity drive was a big success in 2018, raising $68,934, said secretary Vicki Penner. "It was another amazing year," said Penner.
