CARSTAIRS - The Carstairs 4-H Beef Club began in 1942, and hosted its first-ever “field day” on May 29, 1943 at a local farmyard, with five other clubs participating. Throughout the years, the club grew and the show became larger as well.

CREMONA – At the regular council meeting on Oct. 18, council approved having the village purchase the Cremona United Church building and land from the United Church of Canada for $50,000. “It will be municipal land,” said Luana Smith, CAO.
