Olds resident Graysen Cameron, one of 13 players injured in the April 6 crash involving a Humboldt Broncos bus and a semi-trailer in northwest Saskatchewan is now a coach.

Olds has a new speed swimming team. Clint Stevens, former coach of the Olds Rapids year-round swim club, has started up a summer competitive swim club, which he has named Rogue Racing Club (RRC).

Olds High School student Abi Irving dominated junior high track and field zones May 29. Irving finished second in the juvenile girls 100 metre (m) event and third in the juvenile girls 200 m event in which Nova Van Soest placed fourth.

The Olds Koinonia Christian School Royals senior high track team won the 2018 South Central Zone 1A track team banner.
