The 65 th annual Water Valley Stampede Foothills Cowboy Association rodeo last weekend enjoyed great completion and excellent weather.

Local athletes performed well during the 2018 Special Olympics Canada Bowling Championships.

Olds-area athlete Nils Haeni was named Lineman of the Game for the South team during the annual Senior Bowl, which serves as a high school football all-star game. Haeni, 18, a defensive end, lives on a farm east of Olds.
