The Olds Grizzlys officially unveiled three new logos for the team just before tee-off time for its first annual Friends of the Grizzlys Classic golf tournament at the Olds Golf Club June 1. There are three logos altogether.

The Olds peewee Stingers won the gold medal in the Parkland Posse tournament in Edmonton, May 25-27. The team is now getting ready to host the Central Alberta novice playoffs, June 22-24.

Four youth from across Mountain View County are provincial champs in their categories and two placed second in the province among about 150 competitors in the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship.

INNISFAIL – The Innisfail Eagles has a new president to lead the organization. Former Innisfail mayor Brian Spiller was chosen to fill the role at the end of May and chaired his first meeting as club president on May 30.

DIDSBURY - The first Family Fun Gymkhana of the season on May 27 at the Didsbury ag society grounds saw great, sunny weather and a good turnout of all ages.
