A Crossfield woman has started an online crowdfunding page to support Olds wrestler Danielle Lappage as she trains for the Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro this summer. Emily Gatez, 21, is dating Lappage's brother Austin.

The new Penhold Minor Soccer Association is hoping for a repeat of soccer success in town. “We have an association formed and now we are looking for volunteers in the community,” said Melanie Willerth, community program coordinator with the town.
