Hannah Mousek and Taryn Baumgardt were selected to the U-18 Alberta women's hockey team that will be competing at the 2011 National Women's Under 18 championship in Saguenay, Quebec from Nov. 2 to 6.

The Olds Huskies Peewee football team lost 35-14 to the Lacombe Explosion on Saturday at Normie Kwong Park. It was the team's second game of the season while the Explosion have now played four.
