Olds High School students collected 844 pairs of jeans during their Teens for Jeans campaign, which ended on Feb. 23. The campaign was started on Jan. 14 by students in the school's leadership class and was originally to run until Feb.

Sean Hogan will be bringing his unique mix of country and roots rock to the Century Theatre on March 14 as part of his Stay-cation Winter-capades tour. He also plays the Olds Legion on March 16.

A retired band teacher is sending musical instruments to Mexico and helping students there discover the joy of music.

For 16-year-old Sarah Jewkes, it was the perfect opportunity. "Being a hairdresser is something I've always wanted to do, ever since I was little and when this program came up, I jumped right at it,î the Grade 11 Olds High School student said.
