The Olds Agricultural Society saluted three long-standing partners on Saturday during its seventh annual Chautauqua.

An inmate who went missing from the Bowden Institution April 26 was located in Calgary early Saturday evening. Dean Leonard McClelland, 46, was located and arrested “without incident” in Calgary around 6:30 p.m.

Town of Olds administration told council that the town's 2012 education property tax requisition has increased by 9.85 per cent from last year. Town of Olds is expected to pay a requisition of $297,997 for 2012.
