Alcohol is believed to be a factor in a two-vehicle head-on collision east of Sundre on Friday morning, say RCMP.

The Rick Hansen Relay will be going through Bowden on March 1, with a community celebration at Bowden Grandview School at 1 p.m.

Olds Historical Society chair Donna Erdman has asked Town of Olds council to financially support Mountain View Museum for a 10-month period at a cost of $30,000, which would give time for the society to reorganize itself.

Town of Olds council approved proposed changes to three speed zones at its regular council meeting on Feb. 13. The school zones on 54 Street and 57 Avenue will be closed, with the speed limit changing from 30 km/h to 50 km/h.
