The Innisfail Indians peewee softball team won silver at a tournament hosted in Innisfail June 15-17. “The tournament was actually a great success,” said Rick Blais, league liaison. This is the fourth annual softball tournament in Innisfail.

Tax penalties in Penhold will remain at four per cent per period over three periods instead of rising back to a single 12 per cent penalty after the beginning of August. Penhold councillors debated the change during their June 11 meeting.
