The Olds High School JV boys' basketball team will look a lot different when next season rolls around this fall. “We’ll lose some of our stronger JV players.

DIDSBURY – The Didsbury 5-0 Floor Curling Club played host to the Big Country Zone 2 floor curling qualifying bonspiel for the Alberta 55 plus games.

Twenty-two teams from as far as Edmonton, Calgary and Spruce View participated in the annual Ladies' Open Bonspiel, held March 2-4 at the Olds Curling Club.The A event winner was the Bev Weich rink from Calgary.

It's tough not to have made the playoffs this season, but the future is bright, according to Olds Grizzlys president Darcy Dallas as well as former head coach and general manager Adam Redmond.

A total of nine awards were handed out to seven players during the annual Grizzlys awards and appreciation banquet, held March 5 at the Evergreen Centre.
