A 92-year-old former Sundre resident and veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force is looking forward to being among this year's Sundre Pro Rodeo Parade marshals.

No one was seriously hurt following a recent two motor vehicle collision on Highway 27. On the afternoon of June 2, the driver of a pickup truck pulling a camper was heading west on Highway 27 towards Sundre in the outer westbound lane.

Sundre residents were no doubt a bit nervous on Tuesday, June 7 when this intimidating cloud formation that seemed to threaten an imminent tornado hovered near the rodeo grounds for a little while before finally dissipating.

The first Sundre U-12 Sox softball tournament was held Saturday, May 28 at the ball diamonds behind the schools. The squad hosted three visiting teams and played all day. The Sox played three games, lost one and claimed second place, while the Airdrie Aces took top spot.
