Both Seasons Retirement Communities in Olds -- Seasons Olds and Seasons Olds Encore -- have donated $2,000 each to the Mountain View Food Bank Society for a total of $4,000 to help tackle summer hunger. The donations were made on June 27.

BOWDEN - Rain has set back a project to fix a water line leak in Bowden by a couple of days, town officials say. The leak is located right on Highway 2A near the old hotel.

Distracted driving appears to be a problem in Olds, according to RCMP. On July 4, Olds RCMP laid seven distracted driving charges in just under two hours during a "traffic enforcement operation" on Highway 27 in town.
